  • Annual Leave: 27 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. After 5 years of service, this rises to 29 – 33 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

What will you be doing in this role? 
We are seeking dedicated Mammographer who can fulfil the following responsibilities: 

  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have.
  • Mammogram Procedures: Perform mammogram procedures, ensuring accurate positioning of the breast to optimise imaging of breast tissue.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and perform quality assurance tests for specialist X-ray equipment to ensure that it’s used safely within set parameters.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including details of the procedure and any notable observations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and determine the best course of action for the patient.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in audit processes and identify, report and resolve problems, supporting continuous improvement in quality for all radiographic aspects of breast screening service delivery.

 What are the requirements for this role? 

  • You will need to be a registered Radiographer with HCPC and have experience working as a Mammographer.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills. 
  • You must have completed a Pg Cert in Mammography.
  • A full driving licence is essential and access to a car for mobile work is desirable.
