Espirita is thrilled to announce that we have partnered with a leading NHS provider in the UK to recruit experienced Paramedics keen to relocate to the UK.  

What will you be doing in this role? 
We are seeking dedicated Paramedics who can fulfil the following responsibilities: 

  1. Emergency Response:
    • Driving and staffing ambulances and other emergency vehicles.
    • Responding to emergency 999 calls promptly.
    • Assessing patients, including making diagnoses.
    • Providing emergency treatment.
  2. Medical Interventions:
    • Monitoring and administering medication, pain relief, and intravenous infusions.
    • Using sophisticated techniques, equipment, and drugs to resuscitate and stabilize patients.
    • Handling high-tech equipment like defibrillators, spinal and traction splints, and administering oxygen.
  3. Communication and Support:
    • Working closely with other healthcare teams, such as GPs, occupational therapists, and mental health specialists.
    • Supporting patients’ relatives, friends, and members of the public, some of whom may be highly agitated.
    • Collaborating with police, fire, and rescue services.
  4. Teamwork and Shift Work:
    • Being a member of a two-person team, often with an emergency care assistant or technician.
    • Working alone using a motorbike or bicycle or providing advice over the telephone from a control room or clinical hub.
    • Working in all types of weather conditions, including evenings, nights, and weekends.


What are the requirements for this role? 

  • You will need to be a registered Paramedics and have experience working in this profession.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • At least 12 months of registered experience working as a Paramedic.
  • Current HCPC Registration.
  • You must hold a full drivers license (you can drive in Great Britain on your full valid driving license for 12 months from when you become a resident).

  • Salary: You will be paid a Band 5 salary ranging from £28,407 – £34,581.

  • Airport Transfers: Upon your arrival, a taxi will be arranged and paid for to transport you from the airport to your accommodation.
  • Professional Body Registration:  Your HCPC registration fee will be reimbursed.
  • Visa Application Support: Navigating visa applications can be complex, but you won’t have to do it alone. We offer support throughout the visa application and processing stages.
  • English Language Exam: If applicable, we will reimburse the cost of your IELTS/OET examination.
