We are on an active search for dedicated and passionate Midwives to join our client’s dynamic healthcare service. This is a unique opportunity to expand your professional horizons while making a significant impact on patient lives in New Zealand.

What will you be doing in this role? 
 
We are seeking dedicated Midwives who can fulfil the following responsibilities: 

• Monitoring the Health of Pregnant Women and Their Unborn Babies: Responsible for keeping track of the health status of both the mother and the unborn child.
• Providing Full Antenatal Care: Offering screening tests, examinations, and parenting classes.
• Identifying High-Risk Pregnancies: Identifying pregnancies that may require special attention or care, and making referrals to doctors and other medical specialists as needed.
• Developing, Assessing, and Evaluating Individual Programmes of Care Creating personalized care plans for each patient and regularly assess and evaluate these plans.
• Teaching New and Expectant Mothers: Educating mothers on how to feed, care for, and bathe their babies
• Liaising with Other Professionals: Working closely with other healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, social workers, as well as patients’ families, teachers, carers, and employers.
• Keeping Up-to-Date Records: Maintaining accurate written and electronic records of treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care and meet legal requirements.

 
What are the requirements for this role? 

• You will need to be a registered Midwife and have experience working as a Midwife in a hospital or community setting.
• Minimum of one-year registered Midwifery experience within the last five years. This must include antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Excellent communication and time management skills. 
• English Language – if English is not your first language, you will be required to take an IELTS or OET exam.

• Professional Body Registration Assistance: We’ll guide you through the process of registering with the New Zealand Professional Body.
• Visa Application Support: Navigating visa applications can be complex, but our team is here to provide all the help you need.
• IELTS/OET Reimbursement (if applicable): If required, we’ll reimburse the cost of your IELTS or OET examination.
