Registered Nurse – Long Term Acute Care (ICU experience) – Virginia

The state-of-the-art Long-Term Care facility enables Intensive Care Unit nurses to maintain their high level of patient care and further develop their skills. They will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, registered nurses, and auxiliary care staff, to support patients in achieving independent living where feasible.

Successful candidates will leverage their ICU experience in this role, managing a 1:5 patient ratio and playing a pivotal role in patient recovery. They will need to confidently delegate tasks, adhere to policies and procedures, and efficiently provide clinically effective care. Strong analytical skills are essential for reviewing assessment data, diagnostics, laboratory results, and promptly reporting any anomalies to the medical team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a long-term acute care setting.
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals in treatment and illness management.
• Manage multiple patient cases individually.
• Oversee daily rehabilitation and medication administration for patients.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver complex care treatments for conditions such as pulmonary/ventilator liberation, neurological disorders, and post-trauma care.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Science in Adult Nursing (BSN) 
• NCLEX-RN Exam has been successfully passed
• English Proficiency Certificate (or native speaker)
• 24 months recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting 
• Ability/willingness to relocate for a minimum of 2 years
