About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced MRI Radiologic Technologist to join a respected health system in Alaska on a three-year contract, providing high-quality MRI imaging in a collaborative, patient-centered department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations following established protocols and physician orders
  • Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants and contraindications
  • Position patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort
  • Administer contrast media where required, monitoring for reactions
  • Maintain MRI equipment and report technical issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety (where applicable), infection control, and HIPAA standards

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Australia, Canada, or USA for equivalency)
  • ARRT certification in MRI (or eligibility in progress)
  • Minimum 24 months of recent MRI experience
  • English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
  • Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
