About the role

We are seeking experienced, adaptable, and compassionate Radiologic Technologists with skills in General X‑Ray, CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiology to join a respected acute health system in Fairbanks, Alaska, on a three‑year contract.

You’ll work with state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment in a collaborative environment known for trauma care excellence and a strong commitment to patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., X‑ray, CT) in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols

  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and high‑quality imaging while prioritising comfort and safety

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting technical issues promptly

  • Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment

  • Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital and regulatory standards

  • Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA guidelines

  • Provide clear communication and compassionate support to patients throughout the imaging process

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent

    • Qualification must be obtained in Australia, Canada, or the USA for equivalency

  • ARRT certification (or eligibility in progress)

  • English proficiency (certification or native fluency)

  • Minimum 24 months of recent acute care experience

  • Willingness to relocate to Alaska for at least three years
