About the role
We’re seeking experienced, compassionate, and adaptable Registered Nurses to join a respected health system in Fairbanks, Alaska on a three-year contract.
As an RN, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes. You’ll work in a program known for its commitment to patient-centered care and excellence in home health services.
Key responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, following individualized care plans and evidence-based practices
Administer medications, manage symptoms, monitor vital signs, and deliver interventions to promote recovery and independence
Collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support patient and family needs
Document patient assessments, treatments, and clinical outcomes accurately and in real time to support continuity of care and legal compliance
Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques to improve health outcomes
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families during challenging transitions
Uphold rigorous standards of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance in alignment with healthcare guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
NCLEX-RN successfully passed (or NCLEX study is in progress as a minimum)
English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
Minimum 24 months of recent Home Health or acute care experience
Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of 3 years
