Espirita is seeking qualified, skilled, and compassionate Sonographers to join a respected acute health system in Fairbanks, Alaska, on a three‑year contract.
In this role, you will perform high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties, contributing to accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care. You’ll work within a collaborative imaging department in a facility recognised for trauma care excellence and clinical innovation.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in line with physician orders and established protocols
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
Document findings accurately and assist in preparing reports for radiologist interpretation
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support timely, accurate diagnoses
Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process, ensuring comfort and understanding
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (or equivalent)
ARDMS certification (or eligibility in progress) in one or more specialties (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular)
English proficiency (certification or native fluency)
Minimum 24 months of recent clinical sonography experience
Willingness to relocate to Alaska for a minimum of three years
